By making a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy. Please review it carefully before completing your order.
Your Rights Under the Consumer Guarantees Act
Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a refund, replacement or repair in the following circumstances: the product has a major defect or failure; the product does not match its description; the product is not fit for its intended purpose; or the product does not meet acceptable quality standards.
These rights apply regardless of any other conditions outlined in this policy and cannot be waived or excluded.
Return Eligibility
In addition to your rights under the CGA, we accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item is unused and in its original condition.
The following items are not eligible for change of mind returns:
- Sale items (assessed on a case-by-case basis)
- Electronic items
- Underwear, socks, shapewear, lingerie, or other intimate items for hygienic reasons
- Individually customised or personalised products
Items from our Anniversary Collection purchased during the Anniversary Sale are eligible for return under the CGA if they are defective or not as described. Change of mind returns for sale items are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
How to Initiate a Return
To request a return, please email us at support@linda-edward.com with the following details:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue or reason for return
- Photos, if applicable
We will respond with further instructions within 2 business days.
Return Shipping Costs
For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Where a product is defective, not as described, or does not meet CGA consumer guarantees, Linda & Edward will cover all return shipping costs in full.
Order Cancellations
We are unable to cancel orders once they have been dispatched. Before dispatch, please contact us at support@linda-edward.com to request a cancellation. Your statutory rights under the CGA are not affected by this policy.
Refund Process
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome within 2 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days and credited to your original payment method. For major failures under the CGA, you may choose between a refund, replacement, or repair.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us at support@linda-edward.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include photos and a description of the issue. All return shipping costs in these cases will be covered by Linda & Edward.
